Hastings Women Basketball defeats Sioux Falls in GPAC quarterfinal

In the quarterfinals of the Women's GPAC Tournament, the nationally ranked No. 1 Hastings Broncos defeated the No.8 seeded Sioux Falls Cougars 76 - 49 on Thursday night at the Lynn Farrell Arena in Hastings, NE.
At the half, the Broncos led 40 - 13 as they held the Cougars Elizabeth Hildreth to 0 points and they never looked back. Lindsay Ducey led all scorers with 19 points as Rachel Ischerwood also scored 17.
The Broncos will play the winner of Concordia and Morningside on Saturday, February 27 in the GPAC Tournament Semifinals.
