Four seniors lead the Broncos including Jeremiah Slough, Waid Vontz, Brent McNurlin and Kylor Dossett.
HC currently leads the conference in scoring, averaging 84.1 points per game. Vontz leads the team with 18 points per game.
"He has really done a nice job of adapting his game and making himself more than what he was when he came in, which was a shooter," said Lance Creech, head coach, of Vontz. "Now he is much more of a scorer."
This season Slough stepped into a larger scoring role, something that is not traditional of a point guard. Slough is second on the team in scoring with 17 points per game. He also adds 6.2 assists per game.
"The great thing about 'Miah is he's always been what we needed on that particular night," Creech said. "If we need someone to defend, he's been that. If we need him to score 60 and get a four overtime win he's been that."
Slough broke the conference record for most points in a game, 61, and was three shy of the national record in the Broncos 129-124 overtime win over Midland on Jan. 27.
Freshman Jake Marvin and Sophomore Nate Olson are earning more minutes as the season has progressed.
"It's not so much what they do as it is what they don't do," Creech said of his young players. "They're not turning it over. They're not hurting us defensively. They are making plays that they need to make.
HC leads the conference in free-throw percentage and field goal defense. The Broncos are ranked second in the conference in turnover margin, a stat dependant on guard play.
"We're guard dominant right now. In years past we've been very big and physical. Now, we're a little bit leaner and a little bit more athletic on the perimeter," Creech said.
HC will host Dordt tonight at 8 p.m. in the conference quarterfinals. HC lost the first match-up between the two teams 74-67.
Dordt enters the tournament as the six-seed. They were able to beat Dana 89-69 on Tuesday to advance to play the Broncos.
The winner of that game will advance to play the winner of the Sioux Falls and Northwestern game.
"We've still got opportunities," Creech said of the late season. "We just have to understand that we've got to capture each opportunity."
