It is the all-time most popular clip on the video sharing website YouTube with 138 million views. It has spawned a sequel with 9 million views. The Evolution of Dance, a 6-minute smorgasbord program of dance styles and respective songs throughout history, creates laughter to this day. Judson Laipply, the star of this video, will visit HC as part of the BACCUS program to kick off Safe Spring Break Week.

The program of both comedy and his famous dance will be held at the French Memorial Chapel on Tuesday at 7pm. The Wii Just Dance: video game will be available to students after the show as well as raffle prizes.

Laipply, a humorous motivational speaker and writer, was a BACCUS member at his alma mater Bluffton University. He has spoken at many Peer Umbrella Network conferences and is in demand across the nation. Laipply has a broad range of experience performing to animated and thrilled audiences.

Alex Rouse, a member of BACCUS at HC, said "[Laipply] is a motivational speaker that is mostly known for his inspirational comedy. He has gotten a lot of his experience from working on a cruise ship, working at a camp in Colorado, being a certified Aerobics Instructor, teaching college courses, being a published poet, part-time auctioneer and weekly columnist."

"BACCHUS felt that Judson was the right person to bring to this campus to help the student relax and enjoy a good laugh with the last three months of school left," said Rouse.

Laipply is also a published author with his new book Might As Well Dance, an inspirational guide that uses storytelling and humor to get his readers to think and laugh. Purchasers of the book can rest assured that 35% of their total will be donated to 4 charities: BACCHUS, Childrens Miracle Network, Alternatives in Motion, and Donorschoose.com, an educational charity.
